Shore fishing in New York Harbor
The fastest way to reach a human:
One person reads that inbox. Tell us what happened, what you expected, and roughly when — a screenshot helps more than anything.
Every post has a report action behind the … menu, and every angler can be blocked from the same place. Reports are reviewed and objectionable content is removed, along with the accounts behind it. You do not need to email us to report a post — reporting it in the app is faster and gives us the context automatically.
On purpose. Catch locations are shifted to a random point inside the surrounding zone and times are rounded before anything is shared, so a post cannot lead anyone back to the spot you were standing on. Your exact position never leaves your device.
Every number comes from a public agency feed — NOAA CO-OPS for tides and water temperature, NOAA NWS for weather, USGS for river flow, NYC DEP for water quality — and any of them can be late or briefly wrong. Pull down to refresh. If a reading stays wrong, email us the screen and the time.
Rank tab → the gear in the top right → Settings. Name, moniker, handle and home water are all editable there.
Settings → Delete account and all data. It is a real deletion, not a flag: your posts, photos, leaderboard standing, parties and RSVPs go with it, and your handle is released for someone else to use. It cannot be undone.
No. A device angler is exactly that — it lives on the one phone and there is no credential to sign back in with. Sign in with Apple if you want your log to survive a new phone.
Parties are organised by anglers, not by us. Meetups on the calendar are planned by other users at public fishing spots, at your own risk. We do not vet anyone. Hosting or RSVPing is 18+. In an emergency, call 911.
